Successful Off-Road Motorcycle Tour Operator Expands into Special Forces Training
Lake Elsinore, CA - July 7, 2009 - Chris Haines Motorcycle Adventure Company unveiled their new web site today - Chris Haines Off Road Specialist. The site was designed to provide military and special forces personnel with access to the highly technical training services and products that Chris Haines provides.
Operating under the Chris Haines Motorcycle Adventure Company name, Chris Haines Off Road Specialist allows the company to leverage their extensive military experience and expertise.
Vogel Designs was contracted to build the online experience for the new venture. The challenge for Chris Haines was to provide an informative and appealing site for his military and special forces clientele without divulging some of the proprietary and confidential products and services the company offers. After careful planning, research and concept development, a graphical user interface was developed.

Because the clientele for Chris Haines Off Road Specialist is primarily military, it is critical that the site is aesthetically appealing to them, while safeguarding confidential information. It was important for the site to look like a military enterprise, while avoiding the obvious clichés of other sites. It was also designed to facilitate future expansion. The tans, blues and greens used are consistent with the colors used by U.S. military branches, without being specific to any one.
"This site presented some interesting challenges," notes Derek Vogel, principal of Vogel Designs. "Chris needed a site that would allow him to interface with the military and special forces. He wanted to be able to use it to promote his specialized services, but had to be careful not to reveal too much. The final design accomplishes all those objectives."
As with all sites that Vogel Designs develops, visitor usage and feedback will be monitored and considered along the way, and the site will be continually updated.
