Newton Gallery Launches New Web Site
Site Designed to Ahowcase Newton Gallery's Capabilities
Reno, NV - April 22, 2010 - Newton Gallery unveiled its new web site today. The site is designed to showcase the custom lighting capabilities of the company.
Marv Newton has been in the building and design industry for more than 40 years, the last 13 of which have been focused on lighting design and manufacturing. During that time, he worked with some of the most respected and talented designers and manufacturers in the industry. It was important for his new site to convey that experience and expertise in a functional and simple way.
"I wanted a site that emulates an art gallery experience," said Marv Newton, owner of Newton Gallery. "Derek understood what I wanted, and designed a site that puts the product design before the web site design, much the way a museum is simply a building that houses art."
It was important for the site to allow users to filter their search based on product category, designer or numeric ID. This pushed the limits of WordPress capabilities. But the finished site allows Marv and his staff to easily update it use it as a tool when consulting with interior designers, architects and lighting designers.
