Vogel Designs Spreads Its Wings
New Design Firm to Focus on Print, Web and Environments
Reno, NV - April 7, 2009 - Vogel Designs officially came into being today. The new, multi-disciplinary design firm will deliver strategic design solutions to businesses.
"This has been a long time coming," said Derek Vogel principal of Vogel Designs. "I have been contemplating doing this for quite a few years."
Although the current economy might seem an inopportune time to launch a new business, Vogel sees it otherwise. "I think this is a perfect time to launch a business. People who run businesses are watching their budgets and spending very carefully, and demanding results. And that plays to our strengths of delivering strategic solutions that solve business problems."
The firm will focus on traditional print, web, and environments. "We use the term environments, rather than interior design," explains Kelly Vogel, principal of Vogel Designs. "I believe a successful interior design solution is much more than picking out wall coverings and furniture. The interior space is just one part of the entire environment - from the physical structure to space planning to fixtures. Interiors need to be consistent with the overall vision of the architecture."
The new firm already has an impressive portfolio and several happy clients, including Chris Haines Off Road Specialist and Disability Action Advocates. Several projects are currently in progress as well, including large commercial building projects and branding and identity programs.
